Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 and produce sparks 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 And therein raising dust. 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
