Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

HAVE YOU SEEN him who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
