Al-Mulk 2 of 2
He it is who has made the earth easy to live upon: go about, then, in all its regions, and partake the sustenance which He provides: but [always bear in mind that] unto Him you shall be resurrected. 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up while it shakes? 16 Do you feel secure that He Who is in the heaven will not let loose upon you a storm of stones? Then shall you know what My warning is like! 17 Those who went before them belied [the truth]: then how great was My rejection of them. 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them? None, except the Merciful holds them. Surely, He sees all things. 19 Who is he besides the Most Beneficent that can be an army to you to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion. 20 Or who is there that can provide you with Sustenance if He were to withhold His provision? Nay, they obstinately persist in insolent impiety and flight (from the Truth). 21 Is he who goeth groping on his face more rightly guided, or he who walketh upright on a straight road? 22 Say: "It is He Who has created you (and made you grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give. 23 Say: He it is Who multiplied you in the earth and to Him you shall be gathered. 24 But they say: "When will this promise come to pass, if what you say is true?" 25 Say, "God knows best. I am only one who gives warning". 26 But when they see it drawing near, the faces of those who deny the truth will turn gloomy and they will be told, "This is what you were calling for." 27 Say: 'What think you? If God destroys me and those with me, or has mercy on us, then who will protect the unbelievers from a painful chastisement?' 28 Say, "He is the Most Gracious: we believe in Him and we put our trust in Him. You will soon come to know who is in evident error." 29 Say: Have you considered if your water should go down, who is it then that will bring you flowing water? 30

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
