Then the people of Lot rejected the messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them: "Will you not take heed? 161 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 162 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 "Go you in unto the males of the 'Alamin (mankind), 165 instead of your wives, whom your Lord has created specially for you? You are a transgressing people." 166 They said: "O Lot! If you do not desist, you will be one of those expelled (from our towns)." 167 He said: I am in truth of those who hate your conduct. 168 Lord, save me and my family from their deeds." 169 So We saved him and his whole family 170 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 171 and then We utterly destroyed the others, 172 And We rained down upon them a rain, and evil was the rain on those warned. 173 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 174 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 175
