The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 roaring over the hearts 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in extended columns. 9

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
