Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
