The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
