Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
