The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
