Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
