The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 by a burning fire 5 When they sat by it, 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
