Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?" 73 But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye? 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieves in Our signs and says, 'Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children'? 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 Absolutely not, We will record his words and prolong his punishment. 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
