WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Proclaim, “For one in error – so the Most Gracious may give him respite; to the extent that when they see the thing which they are promised – either the punishment or the Last Day; so then they will come to know for whom is the evil rank and whose army is weak.” 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
