And the Trumpet shall be blown; then behold, they are sliding down from their tombs unto their Lord. 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 Then there will simply be one single Blast, and all will have gathered before Us. 53 Today, no soul shall be wronged a thing. You shall not be recompensed except according to your deeds. 54 Verily the fellows of the Garden today shall be happily employed. 55 in happiness will they and their spouses on couches recline; 56 They will have fruits and whatever they desire. 57 "Peace be with you," will be a greeting for them from the Merciful Lord. 58 [And God will say], "Separate yourselves from the righteous this Day, you criminals. 59 ۞ Did I not ordain for you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Shaitan (Satan). Verily, he is a plain enemy to you. 60 But that ye worship Me? That was the right path. 61 Satan misled a great multitude of you. Did you not have any understanding? 62 "This, then, is the hell of which you were warned again and again: 63 Enter it this Day on account of your denial of the truth." 64 This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 22, Page 24] 65 If it had been our Will, We could surely have blotted out their eyes; then should they have run about groping for the Path, but how could they have seen? 66 Had it been Our will We would have transmuted them (into monkeys, pigs and stones) where they were, so that they could neither go forward nor yet return. 67
