▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

And let not those who disbelieve think that they shall come in first; surely they will not escape. 59 Muster against them whatever you are able of force and tethers (ropes) of horses, so that you strike terror into the enemies of Allah and your enemy, and others besides them whom you do not know but Allah does. All that you spend in the Way of Allah shall be repaid to you. You shall not be wronged. 60 ۞ And if they incline to peace, incline thou also to it, and trust in Allah. Lo! He, even He, is the Hearer, the Knower. 61 And should they seek to deceive you, Allah is sufficient for you. He it is Who strengthened you with His succour and the believers 62 and joined their hearts. Had you given away all the riches of the earth you could not have joined their hearts, but it is Allah Who joined their hearts. Indeed He is All-Mighty. All-Wise. 63 O Prophet, God suffices thee, and the believers who follow thee. 64
