The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 As they sat around it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
