The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
