Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
