Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 shall be food for the sinners: 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 In gardens and springs; 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in security. 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
