Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And those that strike violently, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for an appointed time? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 For the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
