The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
