[Hence,] O you who have attained to faith, pay heed unto God and His Apostle, and do not turn away from Him now that you hear [His message]; 20 And do not be like those who say, "We have heard," while they do not hear. 21 ۞ The worst beasts before Allah are those who are deaf, dumb, and do not understand. 22 Indeed, had Allah known any good in them, He would have let them hear. But even if He had made them hear, they would have turned away, swerving aside. 23 Believers, respond to Allah and the Messenger when he calls you to that which revives you. Know that Allah is between the person and his heart, and that toHim you shall all be gathered. 24 And be cautious against a sedition that will not smite the harmdoers alone. Know that the punishment of Allah is Stern. 25 And remember when you were few and oppressed in the land, fearing that people might abduct you, but He sheltered you, supported you with His victory, and provided you with good things - that you might be grateful. 26 O ye who believe! Betray not Allah and His messenger, nor knowingly betray your trusts. 27 And know that your properties and your children are but a trial and that Allah has with Him a great reward. 28
