Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 when they came to him they greeted him with: "Peace." He said,"We feel afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said, "Do you bring me such news despite my old age? What kind of good news are you bringing me?" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
