The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
