The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
