Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 on a Straight Way, 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
