Alshu'araa' 6 of 11

The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
