And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say: 'It may be that part of what you seek to hasten on is already riding behind you' 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a clear Record. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
