And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them in vain. That is the opinion of those who disbelieve. And woe unto those who disbelieve, from the Fire! 27 shall We treat those who believe and do good works the same as those who spread corruption in the land; shall We treat the pious the same as the wicked? 28 This is the Blessed Book that We have revealed to you, (O Muhammad), that people with understanding may reflect over its verses and those with understanding derive a lesson. 29 And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 30 Recall what time there were presented unto him, at eventide, coursers swift-footed. 31 And he said: Lo! I have preferred the good things (of the world) to the remembrance of my Lord; till they were taken out of sight behind the curtain. 32 "Bring them back unto me!" - and would [lovingly] stroke their legs and their necks. 33 We tested Solomon by (causing death to his son) and leaving his body on Solomon's chair. Then he turned to Us in repentance, 34 He said: My Lord! do Thou forgive me and grant me a kingdom which is not fit for (being inherited by) anyone after me; 35 Then We subjected the wind to his power, so that it blew gently, at his behest, wherever he willed, 36 and also the jinn, every kind of builder and diver 37 And others linked together in chains, 38 (Saying): This is Our gift, so bestow thou, or withhold, without reckoning. 39 And he has a place near to Us, and a fine return. 40
