The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
