The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
