Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
