Al-Insan 2 of 2
VERILY, [O believer,] it is We who have bestowed from on high this Qur'an upon thee, step by step - truly a bestowal from on high! 23 Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them. 24 and glorify your Lord morning and evening; 25 and prostrate yourself before Him at night, and extol His Glory during the long watches of the night. 26 Surely men love what hastes away and forget the grievous day (ahead). 27 It was We who created them and made their constitution strong, but if We wish we can replace them with others like them. 28 Surely this is a reminder, so whoever pleases takes to his Lord a way. 29 And you do not please except that Allah please, surely Allah is Knowing, Wise; 30 He admits whosoever He will to His benevolence. But for the evil-doers He has prepared a painful punishment. 31
