We created man -- We know the promptings of his soul, and are closer to him than his jugular vein -- 16 (Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being after he or she has attained the age of puberty), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions). 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid. 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 And every soul shall come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!" 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 God will say, "Do not quarrel in My presence. I gave you the warning beforehand 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
