We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
