We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
