Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
