To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
