۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
