Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Nay! I swear by the day of resurrection. 1 Nay, I swear by the accusing soul (that this Scripture is true). 2 Do men think that We shall never be able to assemble their bones? 3 Yea! We are able to make complete his very fingertips 4 Nay! man desires to give the lie to what is before him. 5 asking [derisively,] "When is that Resurrection Day to be?" 6 but when the sight is dazed 7 And the moon darkens 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 But there is nowhere to take refuge: 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat on that day. 12 Man will be apprised, on that Day, of what he has done and what he has left undone: 13 Indeed, man shall be a witness against himself, 14 even though they make excuses. 15 Do not move your tongue with it (the Revelation) to hasten it. 16 Verily upon us is the collecting thereof and the reciting thereof. 17 So when We have read it, you should thereupon follow what is read. 18 And thereafter verily upon us is the expounding thereof. 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 And neglect the hereafter. 21 Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant). 22 Looking at their Lord. 23 and some faces will on that Day be overcast with despair, 24 so they might think the Calamity had been inflicted upon them. 25 No! When the soul has reached the collar bones 26 And there will be a cry, "Who is a magician (to restore him)?" 27 And he is sure that it is the (hour of) parting 28 And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded) 29 To your Lord on that day shall be the driving. 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
