The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
