The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
