Al-Suff 2 of 2
O you who believe! shall I lead you to a merchandise which may deliver you from a painful chastisement? 10 You should believe in God and His Messenger, and strive for God's cause with your possessions and your lives. That will be better for you, if you only knew -- 11 He will forgive for you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence. That is the great attainment. 12 He will give you another blessing which you desire: help from God and imminent victory. Give good tidings [O Muhammad] to believers! 13 O ye who believe! Be Allah's helpers, even as Jesus son of Mary said unto the disciples: Who are my helpers for Allah? They said: We are Allah's helpers. And a party of the Children of Israel believed, while a party disbelieved. Then We strengthened those who believed against their foe, and they became the uppermost. 14
