(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
