Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 that weighed down your back? 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So, when you have finished (your prayer), labor (in supplication), 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
