The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
