The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The Calamity! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
