Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
