Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
