Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
